Lately Gordon and I have had A LOT of cozy nights in watching the movies we missed seeing together when they were out in theaters. Here's a quick rundown...
- 50/50 - Of course I cried. But the tears were worth it. Such a good movie.
- Moneyball - I had a zillion questions for G. I don't know that much about baseball. G tried his best to explain, but even with my lack of knowledge this movie was a winner.
- Ides of March - This movie made me realize how clueless I am about politics. The acting was great. Very impressed with Ryan Gosling's portrayal of his character. The ending made me feel a little sad, but still glad I watched it.
- I Don't Know How She Does It - HORRIBLE. I don't know why or how I talked G into ordering this one. Five minutes in, I began apologizing profusely. What a waste!
- The Help - So, so, so good. Not completely in sync with the book (see my review of that here), but still very touching, inspiring and emotional.
